Charity Begins at Dhaaba

On Aug15th 2008 Evening, I with some of my Longoti Friends (we 6 from Old City) went for a dinner at Santhosh Dhaaba, a veggie hotel near BegumBazar where food gets served for comparatively cheaper rate. It has been one of the ‘adda’s where we frequently sit and chits chat for hours about movies, politics and sports.

This time, uncommonly I took the initiation to share my feelings before all buddies. I proposed to have a kind of charity organization of our own with the monthly contribution of each Rs.100, so that for every quarter we can meet and discuss then could spend the total collective amount on education or health for economically backward or unprivileged citizens. I was surprised to get the overwhelming response from everybody also got very good suggestions. I took the primary responsibility to make the concrete proposals and initiatives ….. …

Looking forward to start Charitable activities soon to make change in some one else’s life and also to make our lives meaning full.
